Dr. Sriram has been involved in the fields of secondary and higher education since 2003. Since that time he has worked in a variety of capacities that have allowed him to gain experiential knowledge at every level of the educational industry (high school to community college to PhD-granting institutions). He taught at Morehouse College, Georgia State University, the University of California at Santa Barbara, Georgia Perimeter College, Butler University, and the College of Charleston. Additionally, he spent a year working at two private, Islamic schools in suburban Chicago; two summers mentoring inner-city high school students in Atlanta; and several summers grading Advanced Placement exams. He has taught, collaborated with, and mentored thousands of students; and realizes now, more than ever, the need for quality professionals in higher education who are not just great teachers, but great administrators as well. He recently joined the faculty of Gonzaga University as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science.
He received his B.A. in Political Science in 2002 from Purdue University where he was a member of the Alpha Phi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity. He also has an M.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University and a second M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
